WALLOPS ISLAND, Virg. – That's one small leap for man, one giant leap for a frog.

Astronaut Neil Armstrong's got nothing on this little guy.

During the launch of a rocket from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, cameras caught a frog making a last-second escape from the launch pad.

Against the silhouette of billowing engine clouds, the frog tries its best to not become the next amphibian in space. Unfortunately, there are no updates regarding the condition of this wayward frog.

Before anyone starts screaming "Photoshopped!," be aware that NASA confirms the frog picture and that it has not been tampered with.
