Police believe Livolsi overcorrected his car which caused him to go over a guardrail, through bushes and into a western Broward canal.

When police arrived Livolsi was still in his car which was submerged under water, but rescuers were able to break a window and pull him from the car.

Despite CPR, Livolsi was pronounced dead after arriving to Cleveland Clinic in Weston.

Broward County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
