Affected residents will receive a notice from the department.

County officials said repairs are expected to be completed by late Wednesday afternoon.

Once water service is restored, affected homeowners are asked to bring all water used for drinking or cooking purposes to a full rolling boil for at least one minute until further notice prior to consumption.

There is no problem with using the water for bathing and other household needs, authorities said.

WASD said it will be sampling the water and once all tests are cleared, the boil water restrictions will be lifted.

Those with any questions may call the department's Communications Center at 305-274-9272.
