Weather across nation causes So Fla flight cancellations, delays

MIAMI – Some flights were either canceled or delayed Wednesday because of weather throughout the U.S., airport officials said.

At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, 51 cancellations were reported as of 9:45 p.m.

At Miami International Airport, 67 cancellations and 23 delays were reported as of 9:45 p.m.

Officials said cities affected by Wednesday night's cancellations and delays include Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh/Durham, Myrtle Beach, Newark, Richmond, Washington, D.C. (Reagan and Dulles), New York (LaGuardia and JFK), Baltimore, Atlantic City, Long Island (MacArthur), Detroit, Greensboro, Charleston, and Philadelphia.
