POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man was found shot to death just steps from his Pompano Beach home early Wednesday morning, Broward Sheriff's Office detectives said.
Deputies were called to the intersection of Southwest Eighth Avenue and Southwest Sixth Court shortly after midnight after reports of gunshots.

When deputies arrived, they found the body of Michael Lubitus, 19, on the swale outside his home.
