Boy, 4, killed in crash; mother, brother injured

Mother struck by car while pushing stroller

SUNRISE, Fla. – A 4-year-old boy was killed and another child was injured after they were struck by a car Saturday night in Sunrise.

Natali Munzer Alja'Ouni lost one of her two children after a black BMW slammed into them while she was pushing her children in a stroller.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Pine Island Road north of Oakland Park Boulevard.

Abdallah Staih, 4, died shortly after arriving at Broward Health Medical Center. An 8-month-old boy, Ahmad Staih, was listed in stable condition Monday.

Their mother remained in critical condition.

The driver of the BMW remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.
