The cover layers come from the Philadelphia University School of Design and Engineering, spacesuit vendor ILC Dover and the firm's operation in Houston, Texas.

The three designs are called: "Biomimicry," "Technology" and "Trends in Society."

The suit will not be sent into space. It will be tested in a human vacuum chamber next year, to help teach astronauts how to space walk.

You have until April 15 to choose one of three designs. Voting is available here: http://jscfeatures.jsc.nasa.gov/z2/.
