ROCK HARBOR, Fla. – A Fort Myers woman was arrested after she used a belt to try to strangle a 10-year-old boy, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Ada Dubon, 31, was arrested Monday night in Rock Harbor.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said a second child who witnessed the incident called a relative for help. That relative then called 911.
When deputies arrived, they found Dubon extremely intoxicated and barely able to speak, Herrin said.
The relative said Dubon has ongoing issues involving alcohol.
Both children told deputies Dubon put a belt around the boy's neck and began tightening it, saying she was going to kill him.
Dubon faces a felony charge of aggravated battery on a child.
