Burglary suspect nearly runs over officer
Police in Lauderhill search for suspected burglar
LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A driver tried to run over a police officer in Lauderhill Thursday.
Lauderhill police officers were responding to a burglary call at a come near the corner of Northwest Sixth Street and 35th Avenue when they spotted two suspects.
One suspected burglar was waiting in the driver seat of a car, and another was nearby. While fleeing from police the suspect nearly hit a police officer.
The officer was not injured. Officers arrested the suspect left behind and were looking for the driver who fled.
