21 tires slashed at Miami apartment building overnight

Police searching for vandals

MIAMI – Police are looking for the vandals who slashed 21 tires at an apartment complex in Miami overnight.

The incident happened at 814 NW 36th Ave.

Police say they are unsure how many people were involved in vandalizing the nearly two dozen vehicles. They say they are also unsure whether those responsible live in the building or live in the area.

According to authorities, nothing was taken from any of the cars. However, a car was broken into at the same building Tuesday, and the air bag was stolen.

Police say it's unclear whether the two incidents are related, but they are reviewing surveillance video from the building next door to see if it will help them catch the crooks.
