Margate police seek man with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia

MARGATE, Fla. – The Margate Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Layton Prophete was reported missing by his sister Friday. Police said he was last seen Wednesday at his apartment at 6050 N.W. 8th St.

Margate police said Prophete is currently off his medication.

Prophete was described by police as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair.

Police said Prophete's parents live in the Hollywood area and he may attempt to contact them.
