BSO: Truck burglar took $700 worth of tools, spare tire

Surveillance video captures unidentified theft


POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are trying to identify a man who stole about $700 worth of tools during a vehicle burglary in Pompano Beach.

The theft occurred April 14 at the PowerCom lot on Northwest 16th Lane.

Surveillance video showed the man walking around the lot just after 1 a.m., using a flashlight to look inside work vans and trying to open the doors.

He finally settled upon a Ford F-150, breaking the rear passenger window and stealing a tool kit and spare tire.
