DAVIE, Fla. – A man threatening to jump off a highway overpass shutdown traffic in parts of Broward County on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to a call of a person off an I-595 overpass near State Roads 7 and 84, plus the Florida Turnpike.

Police shut down northbound State Road 7 and both exits from State Road 7 to I-595.
After speaking with the man he surrendered to police and all roads are now reopened.
