MIRAMAR, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Tuesday afternoon in Miramar.
Officers confirmed that a 62-year-old woman was shot during an attempted robbery at Southwest 33 Street and 64 Avenue.

After she was shot, the woman flagged down a city employee who called 911. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at a nearby hospital.
Police continue searching for the gunman.
