HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A man was shot Tuesday night during an attempted robbery.
According to police, a businessman who has not been identified was at 5981 Funston St. in Hollywood around 6:15 p.m. when two people attempted to rob him.
Police arrived and found the 66-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
That man was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
A suspect was detained and being questioned by police.
