MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A memorial was held Tuesday evening for the rabbi who was shot while visiting South Florida from New York.
The memorial took place outside the temple near Northeast 175th Street and Eighth Court where Joseph Raksin was fatally shot last month.
Miami-Dade police said they believe Raksin was shot during an attempted robbery.
Police officers, firefighters and concerned residents in the area were expected to attend Tuesday's memorial.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
