PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. ā€“ Two Hialeah men were arrested Friday in Port St. Lucie after they stole tailgates and running boards from Ford pickup trucks in the city, police said.

Yusel Oliva and Jose Gainza were arrested on three counts of grand theft, three counts of burglary, three counts of dealing in stolen property and one count of possession of burglary tools.

Port St. Lucie police said they received a 911 call from a concerned citizen who reported seeing two men, later identified as Oliva and Gainza, removing the tailgate and running boards from his neighbor's truck early Friday morning.

Police established a perimeter and stopped a truck that matched the description of the getaway vehicle a short time later.

Inside the bed of the truck, police found two tailgates and three sets of running boards that had been stolen from other Ford pickup trucks.
