The Internet is abuzz after the video of a zany motivational speech by Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey to the Texas Longhorns football team has gone viral.
McConaughey stopped by the team's practice this week to meet the players and first-year head coach Charlie Strong.

The Texas alumnus was sporting a Longhorns T-shirt and tried to inspire his favorite team with a rambling speech about what motivates him in his profession.
McConaughey said he found that when he's done his best work, "it was only when I pushed myself to be better than I even thought I could be."
He then took a cue from his character in "The Wolf of Wall Street," getting the players to pound their chests with their fists.
McConaughey explained that he does that before a scene to loosen himself up, so actor Leonardo DiCaprio saw him doing it and that's how it wound up in the movie.
There were more than 467,000 views of the Longhorn Network video on YouTube as of Friday morning.
