CUTLER BAY, Fla. – Sky 10 was over Bel-Aire Elementary School in Cutler Bay Friday afternoon as police were seen surrounding the building.
The school at 10205 SW 194 Street had been on lockdown since about 2 p.m. after someone from inside the school called 911 to report a possible armed man on school grounds.
The school was searched, and no suspicious people were found inside. The lockdown order was lifted shortly before 4 p.m.
This is the second time this month that the elementary school has been on lockdown, although the first instance was due to a fire.
