Amber Alert canceled for Orlando infant

Police have canceled alert for Layvionna Nygard Taylor

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Amber Alert was canceled Saturday morning for a missing baby girl out of Orlando.

Orlando police said 4-month-old Layvionna Nygard Taylor was found unharmed with 31-year-old Tacarion Thomas at his friend's home.

The alert was issued around 5 a.m. Saturday after the girl was last seen Friday off Major Boulevard in Orlando.

Thomas claimed he didn't contact the mother because his cellphone was not working, Orlando police said.

Detectives said Thomas called police after he learned about the Amber Alert from his friends, WKMG-TV reports.

No charges are being filed at this time, according to police.
