Opa-locka warehouse fire now under control

Early morning fire destroys party rental business

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Firefighters now have a warehouse fire in Opa-locka under control.

Officials say the fire broke out about 5:30 a.m. Sunday and when they arrived the building was fully engulfed.

This is actually a huge party rental business located in the 4700 block of NW 128th Street.

Fire officials say the roof has collapsed as well as some of the walls.

Right now, crews are keeping an eye out for hot spots.

The owner did not want to speak on camera, but says he had this business for 10 years.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
