State orders restaurant shut for second time
State records show inspectors with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation visited China Lane in Hollywood again last week and again ordered the place shut.
China Lane was also ordered shut in August.
Below is a list of restaurants ordered shut and some of their violations. All the restaurants below were allowed to re-open following ordered clean up and re-inspections.

"Dead roaches on premises. Observed 2 dead roaches on shelf under hot holding across from grill. Observed about 10 dead roaches under cooking equipment and flip top cooler at cook line. Observed 2 dead roaches in dish area. Observed 6 dead roaches under stainless steel 2 door freezer and Hand wash sink next to grill."
"Cooked meat/poultry cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Ribs cooked yesterday inside oven at cook line at 86°F. Chicken 69°F no time .See stop sale."
"Live, small flying insects in food preparation area."
"Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Sprouts 78°F, see stop sale."
"Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed 5 live roaches under hot holding table across cook line. Observed 1 live roach at back door. Observed 2 live roaches under prep table across cook line. Observed one live roach next to hand wash sink next to cook line."
Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. Sprouts placed inside holding unit with standing water on the floor. Sprout container with holes.

"Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed 1 roach on the outside wall of the walk-in cooler, 6 roaches on the floor outside the walk-in cooler under food storage containers, 1 roach on the floor in the dining room. 5 roaches under clean pots stored outside the walk-in cooler. At least 10 roaches under shelving where food is stored outside of the walk-in cooler. 3 under the 3 compartment sink. 2 on floor behind cooking equipment in the kitchen."

Approximately 15 droppings observed behind kitchen cooking equipment. Approximately 50 moist droppings observed on top of dish machine. Approximately 20 moist droppings under dish machine. Strong odor of feces and urine noted in kitchen."
