COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – A man from Coconut Creek is facing video voyeurism charges after he admitted to secretly installing a hidden camera inside the master bathroom of the home where he lives with his girlfriend, police said.
Cristian Salvatierra, 38, is being held in jail in lieu of $4,500. He is also charged with illegal use of a device to intercept communication.

According to police, Karla Martin discovered the hidden camera Salvatierra placed in the bathroom on Tuesday. The time stamp on the video shows that on Sept. 12 Salvatierra installed the camera.
Police said the video shows Martin as well as 12-year-old girl who also lives in the home getting undressed/dressed and getting into the shower at different times.
Detectives said Salvatierra admitted to installing the cameras without the permission of Martin.
