Man robs Subway of $300 in North Miami

Surveillance video captured robbery Sunday night

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. ā€“ Police are searching for a man who robbed a Subway in North Miami on Sunday night.

Surveillance video captured the robber walking into the restaurant at 965 NE 125th Street at about 10 p.m.

Police said the man, who was armed with a handgun, demanded money from the cash register from employees.

The employees complied with the man's request and placed $300 into a bag.

Police believe the same man is responsible for three other armed robberies in Miami-Dade County.

Surveillance video shows a man robbing a 7-Eleven convenience store at 533 NW 103rd St. on Oct. 6. The man is also believed to have robbed a Family Dollar store near North Miami Avenue and 119th Street on Oct. 18 and another 7-Eleven at 965 NE 125th St. on Oct. 19.

The robber is described as being between 5 feet 3 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He is believed to be about 220 pounds and has a lazy eye.Ā
