NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – A 17-year-old man has been arrested in a North Miami shooting that left two men dead, including a rapper from South Florida.

Beetoo Pierre, 17, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder.

Justin McAdam, 31, and Kenson Pierre, 22, were fatally shot in front of Pierre's home at 1130 NE 133rd St. shortly after 1:30 a.m. on June 19.

Pierre is better known by his rapper persona, Short Kidd.

"We all loved him and now we don't have him anymore," sister Merlande Pierre told Local 10.

She said he didn't have any enemies.

McAdam was a videographer who often collaborated with Pierre in making his music videos.

A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
