POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A car with two people inside lost control and struck a truck Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 in Pompano Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Sample Road.

After colliding with the truck, the car went off the highway and slammed into a tree, the FHP said.
Several firefighters worked to free the victims in the car.
Both people in the car were taken to Broward Health North.
