Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band to headline 2015 Tortuga Music Festival

Tickets for third annual festival go on sale Friday

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Country music star Kenny Chesney and the Grammy award-winning Zac Brown Band will headline the third annual Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, festival organizers announced Tuesday morning. 

The event will be held April 11 and 12 at Fort Lauderdale Park Beach. The 2015 performance will be the second time Chesney headlines the festival; he also performed during its inaugural year.

Other performers include: Jake Owen, Little Big Town, Trace Adkins, Sublime with Rome, David Nail, The Mavericks, Colt Ford, Chase Rice, Sam Hunt, Frankie Ballard, The Cadillac Three, Dirty Guv'nahs, Chase Bryant, Old Dominion, Maddie & Tae, Nikki Lane, Judah & The Lion, Brooke Eden, and Drake White and The Big Fire. 

Additional acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. 

A limited number of reduced-priced tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. A two-day advance general admission ticket will cost $149, two-day advance VIP tickets are $699, and advance Super VIP tickets will be $1,099. 

Once tickets sell out, the prices will rise to $165 for two-day general admission, $799 for two-day VIP, and $1,299 for Super VIP.

More than 44,000 people attended the 2014 festival and at least $100,000 in proceeds was donated to marine and ocean research and conservation organizations.
