Hialeah tractor-trailers catch fire early Wednesday morning

Firefighters spend hours battling flames

HIALEAH, Fla. – Two tractor-trailers caught fire early Wednesday morning in Hialeah.

The fire started just before 4 a.m. at 3251 W. Okeechobee Road.

Both tractor-trailers were parked next to a warehouse. One contained tires and the other was filled with garbage.

Firefighters spent about four hours battling the flames before they were able to get it under control.

In all, firefighters used more than 100 gallons of foam and several gallons of water.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
