MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Renovations are underway at Sun Life Stadium.
The Miami Dolphins are starting improvements to the Stadium that will cut stadium capacity, but will bring seats closer to the field.
Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel said that specific plans on whether the removed seats will be put up for sale will be released at a later date, but long-time ticket holders will be rewarded first.
Garfinkel tweeted pictures of the seats and pointed out that they were 27 years old.
Local 10 reached out to the Dolphins.
The team tells us that an official groundbreaking will likely take place later this month.
