Woman, 61, struck by bus in Miami

Victim taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center

MIAMI – A pedestrian was struck by a Miami-Dade Transit bus Monday morning in Miami.

The crash occurred at Southwest First Avenue and Southwest First Street about 10 a.m.

Miami fire Capt. Ignatius Carroll said paramedics were performing CPR.

Local 10 News reporter Michael Seiden said the victim was a 61-year-old woman.

She was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
