Woman caught in Key West with several Social Security cards

Deputies say Lourdes Mena, 38, driving erratically with suspended license

KEY WEST, Fla. – Lourdes Mena had pharmaceutical drugs and several Social Security cards cards that did not belong to her, deputies said.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lazaro Valdez saw Mena driving a van that he said was swerving on the roadway southbound into the city of Key West Sunday.

Mena, 38, failed to stop but did not speed. Instead, she drove slowly and eventually stopped at the 3700 block of Duck Avenue.

Valdez said Mena's driver's license was suspended and had been suspended six times for failure to pay traffic fines. She had three pill bottles in her purse, which contained Hydrocodone and Diazepam.

Mena is facing charged of fleeing and attempting to elude police, fraudulent use or possession of another person's identification. possession of controlled substance without a prescription and trafficking in a controlled substance.
