ISLAMORADA, Fla. – A Lakeland woman died while on a diving trip in the Florida Keys.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said Andrea Moody, 41, was on a group diving trip Saturday morning off Islamorada.

Witnesses told deputies Moody jumped into the water and began to panic almost immediately.

Herrin said Moody was unconscious by the time the group got her back on the boat.

Moody then stopped breathing, and the boat crew started CPR as they returned to shore.

Paramedics took Moody to Mariner's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of her death.
