Bianca Davis left children alone in car while gambling, police say

Police believe woman left kids alone in car outside Seminole Casino Classic for more than 1 hour

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā€“ A woman left her four children alone in a car while she was gambling at a South Florida casino, police said.

Bianca Davis faced a judge Thursday before being released on her own recognizance. She faces charges of child neglect and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Seminole police spokesman Gary Bitner said security at the Seminole Casino Classic in Hollywood saw four children between the ages of 1 and 13 alone in the car.

Security called police, who were in the parking lot when Davis walked out of the casino.

An officer was blocking her car to prevent her from leaving, so Davis shoved the officer, Bitner said.

Eventually, Davis was taken to the ground, where she continued kicking the officer, Bitner said.

Police believe the children were alone in the car for more than an hour, based on surveillance video.
