Police said the employee was able to press a panic button to alert the alarm company and told the robbers that only her manager was capable of opening the safe.

The men then ordered the group of employees inside the kitchen to go inside a small supply closet and place all of their belongings on the floor, police said.

Police said the men then ordered the manager to open the safe, but she warned them that there was a 15-minute delay after she typed in the code.

Employees at the restaurant told detectives that the men appeared to be growing nervous and left with only $43 and two cellphones.

Three employees were injured in the robbery, including a woman who was pulled by her hair, a man who was hit on the shoulder and another man who was pistol-whipped.

Detectives are reviewing the restaurant's surveillance video.

Police said they are looking for two black men, one of whom has tattoos on both hands, including an image of a flame on one.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
