MIAMI BEACH, Fla. ā Naomi Wilzig, the octogenarian purveyor of erotic art, has died.

The product of an orthodox Jewish family, Wilzig told Local 10 in March that she knew she did not fit the description of an erotic art collector. But she contended that her faith and her passion for art were entirely compatible.
"They don't expect me to be the collector of erotic art. People look at me with raised eyebrows," she said.
Wilzig said her passion for erotic art began when she was antiquing, and collecting unique pieces for her son. Since then, she had traveled the world to acquire many of the pieces now on display.
She was recently featured on Local 10's Miami Beach 100 special.
The World Erotic Art Museum confirmed Wilzig's death to Local 10 over the phone Tuesday night.
She is survived by three children and grandchildren, a WEAM representative said.
