BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A Miami man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found on the side of the road in Delray Beach.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said John Chapman, 25, was identified as a suspect in the death of Vanessa Bristol.

The 28-year-old Margate woman's body was discovered April 18 in the 14000 block of Smith Sundy Road.
Detectives said evidence at the scene led them to believe Bristol wasn't killed where she was found.
Chapman faces a charge of first-degree murder. He was being held at the main Broward County jail on unrelated charges of cocaine possession, battery, resisting arrest without violence and driving with a suspended license.
