MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Two people were shot Tuesday in what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide, Miami Gardens police said.
A woman was found injured inside a home in the 3200 block of Northwest 208th Terrace, and a man was found dead from an apparent self-inflicting gunshot wound just outside the home.
The woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police have not disclosed the relationship of the suspect and victim, but neighbors told Local 10 News reporter John Turchin that they have lived at the home for nearly two decades.
Relatives of the woman were seen speaking to detectives outside the home.
Police said there was no forced entry, which makes them believe the shootings were an attempted murder-suicide.
The identities of the suspect and victim have not been released.
