DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A man was arrested Thursday after snatching a cellphone from a girl who was walking along a sidewalk in Dania Beach, police said.
Jonathan Diaz-Castillo, 27, faces one count of robbery.

According to an arrest report, Diaz-Castillo jumped out of a car and tackled the girl for her iPhone 6.
Witnesses saw the robbery happen in the area of Southeast Fourth Avenue and tackled Diaz-Castillo a block away on Southeast Third Avenue and Sixth Street.
Police said the witnesses held the suspect down until police arrived and took him into custody.
