MARGATE, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car Friday afternoon in Margate, police said.
Sky 10 was above the scene at Northwest 66th Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard just before 2:30 p.m.

Margate police said the crash involved a 2005 Honda CBR motorcycle and a 1996 Toyota Corolla.
The Toyota overturned as a result of the crash, police said. The motorcycle was on its side.
The driver of the Toyota was extricated from the vehicle by Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Rescue and was taken to North Broward Medical Center for treatment, authorities said.
The motorcyclist, identified as Michael Peter Mascaro, 34, of Coral Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Margate police.
The intersection was roped off as authorities investigated the cause of the crash.
