2 workers get stuck on scaffold in downtown Miami
Miami Fire Rescue uses aerial ladder to rescue men
MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue responded to a building in downtown Miami Friday afternoon after two men got stuck on a scaffold.
The incident was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at 1750 SW First Ave.
Sky 10 was above the scene as one worker held on to the railing of the slightly tilted scaffold that was several stories high. The other man stayed on the opposite side of the scaffold.
Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Ignatius Carroll said the men were painting the side of the building when the scaffold motor failed.
Fire crews used an aerial ladder to rescue the men.
Carroll said the men did not suffer any injuries.
