FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –  Two eastbound lanes of Interstate 595 were closed at Pine Island Road following a Tuesday morning crash involving a Broward Sheriff's Office vehicle.

The view from Sky 10 just after 6 a.m. showed the BSO vehicle with front-end damage and another small car on its side.

A BSO representative said the deputy was on the way to work when she was cut off by another driver. Authorities said the deputy struck another car before crashing into a retaining wall.

The deputy suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The other drivers were not injured in the crash.
