COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – A Broward Sheriff's Office fire captain has been suspended with pay after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
According to an arrest report, this is the third time Donald Reid, a 27-year BSO veteran, has been arrested on DUI charges in more than 10 years.

Reid was arrested by Coconut Creek police after he was involved in a crash on Wiles Road June 24.
According to the report, Reid refused a Breathalyzer test.
He faces up to a year in prison if convicted.
