According to an arrest report, Young approached a group of people Monday in the 1700 block of Northwest Second Court and demanded all of their possessions.

"Give it up. I'm not playing," Young allegedly said to the group.

The surviving victims told detectives that they complied with Young's request, placing their belongings on the hood of one of the victim's cars.

Police said Young ran off while firing about seven shots in the direction of the victims.

One person, whose identity has not been released, was shot in the upper torso. The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and later pronounced dead.

Young was denied bond by a Miami-Dade County judge Friday.
