No surprises on first Miami Dolphins tentative depth chart

First-round draft pick DeVante Parker listed as second-team wide receiver

DAVIE, Fla. – There were no real surprises as the Miami Dolphins released their first tentative depth chart Monday.

First-round draft choice DeVante Parker is listed as a second-team wide receiver behind first-year Dolphins Greg Jennings, who played for the Minnesota Vikings last season, and Kenny Stills, who was acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Saints. The former Louisville star is on the team's physically unable to perform list.

Lamar Miller is listed as the first-team running back.

Perhaps the biggest question mark headed into the season is at guard, where Dallas Thomas and Bill Turner are listed at the top of the depth chart. They team with tackles Ju'Wuan James and Brandon Albert and center Mike Pouncey to make up Miami's starting offensive line.

As expected, Ryan Tannehill is the team's starting quarterback, while Matt Moore and former first-round draft pick Josh Freeman are listed second and third, respectively.

On defense, Cam Wake and Ndamukong Suh, who signed a six-year, $114 million contract earlier this year, make up the starting defensive ends.

The Dolphins travel to Chicago for Thursday's preseason game against the Bears.
