Miami-Dade police seek woman who suffers from memory loss

MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a woman who has memory loss.

Vallene Horn, 81, was last seen at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 9000 block of Northwest Eighth Avenue when she went outside to move a vehicle.

Police said Horn also has blurred vision in both eyes.

Miami-Dade police described Horn as a black woman who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds and has red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red or green shirt and black shorts.

The vehicle Horn went outside to move is described by police as a black-and-gray four-door 2002 Chevy Avalanche (similar to vehicle pictured below) with Florida tag W492FH.
