MIAMI – A man is dead after being shot in the head Friday evening, Miami police said.
The shooting happened around 7:51 p.m. Friday near the 1600 block of Northwest 40th Street in Miami. Police received a call about multiple shots being fired.
Officers arrived to find a victim, described as a man in his early 20s, shot.
Police said the man was taken by Miami Fire Rescue to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A gun was found at the scene, according to Miami police.
