MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that happened Saturday night on the Florida Turnpike.
The crash happened after 8 p.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes of the portion of the Turnpike which connects the highway to I-95, just north of the Golden Glades.
A car struck a pedestrian who was apparently attempting to cross the road.
Multiple crews were called to the scene in Miami Gardens.
The crash blocked all southbound lanes Saturday night. Traffic was being diverted at mile marker 2X.
