2 arrested after stealing vehicle in Fort Lauderdale, police say

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two people were arrested and police are still searching for one more after a car was reported stolen in Fort Lauderdale.

Sky 10 was above the scene just after noon Tuesday as police took two people in to custody on Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue.

A Fort Lauderdale police representative said unmarked units spotted the stolen vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

Police said the vehicle took off but eventually crashed into another vehicle on Commercial Boulevard.

Police said the suspects ran off, but two were quickly captured.
