According to the report, Sneed was visiting his girlfriend and child at their North Lauderdale home when he started arguing with Latria Colvin, who also lived there.

Sneed was arguing with Colvin because her boyfriend was there and Sneed didn't know him, Deputy Nezar Hamze wrote in the report.

Colvin told Sneed that she didn't have to tell him anything, but Sneed said he pays half the bills, the report said.

Sneed became angry and grabbed two knives, pointing them at Colvin, the report said.

As Colvin and her boyfriend tried to leave, Sneed stood in front of the door, still pointing the knives at her, and told them that they weren't leaving "until he says what he needs to," the report said.

Sneed was being held at the main Broward County jail on $3,500 bond.
