LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Walt Disney World will be temporarily closing Epcot's popular Soarin' ride next year, Local 10 News affiliate WKMG reported.
The ride will close Jan. 4 and will reopen by summer of 2016.

Disney announced earlier this year that the ride would expand from two theaters to three.
The revamped Soarin' ride will have new digital screens and a new movie that includes scenes from all over the world.
